1.Accepting these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using CalmBelly (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These terms apply to the CalmBelly mobile app and this website.
2.Not medical advice
Important. CalmBelly is an educational and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The low-FODMAP diet can affect your nutrition and health. Content, coaching responses, lessons, and meal suggestions in CalmBelly are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for the advice of a qualified physician or registered dietitian. Always seek professional guidance before starting, changing, or stopping any diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in the app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
3.Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use CalmBelly. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4.Acceptable use
When using CalmBelly, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Copy, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our permission.
- Misuse the AI coach to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
5.Subscriptions & purchases
CalmBelly may offer paid features or subscriptions. Prices, billing cycles, and any free trial terms are shown at the point of purchase. Payments and renewals are handled by the Apple App Store under its terms, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
6.Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, content, and the CalmBelly name and logo, is owned by CalmBelly and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms.
7.Your content
You retain ownership of the logs, notes, and other information you put into CalmBelly. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content so we can provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of health-related content. We do not guarantee any specific health outcome from using CalmBelly.
9.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalmBelly and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10.Termination
You may stop using CalmBelly at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use CalmBelly after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
